To provide admission to candidates for PG, M.Phil and Ph.D. programs, Delhi University administers the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). The National Testing Agency (NTA) handles the administration of the DU entrance exam. DUET takes place once a year. The University of Delhi (DU) only conducts the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) to candidates who are seeking admission to any of its several undergraduate, post graduate, M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs.

About Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) Exam

Candidates who wish to take the DUET 2024 exam must become aware of the exam format, which differs course to course. It will be a two -hour exam. One mark is taken away for each wrong response in the 400 - mark DUET entrance examination, and four marks are given for each correct response.   • Teaching Aptitude & Sensitivity Towards Disability - 10 Questions.
  • Language Comprehension - 20 Questions.
  • Subject Knowledge up to class 10th level in Hindi, English, Social Science, Mathematics & Science - 40 Questions.

Total Marks - 400 Marks.

Exam Timings - 2 hours (120 Minutes).

Types of Questions - Multiple Choice Questions.

  • Slot 1 - 08:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
  • Slot 2 - 12:00 p.m. - 02:00 p.m.
  • Slot 3 - 03:30 p.m. - 05:30 p.m.

Marking Process of DUET Exam

  • Each question consists of 4 marks.
  • For every incorrect answer -1 mark will be deducted.
  • No answer, no marks.

 

DUET Exam 2024 (Tentative) 

The Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET 2024) is an online application process for various courses, including BMS, M.Ed, LLM and BA (Honors) Business Economics. The exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency, will take place from May 15 - May 31, 2024 for UG and March 11 - 28, 2024 for PG.

What is the Application Fee of Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) Exam ?

NTA will conduct the DUET UG examination and the application form will be available online at the exam's official website. Prior to applying, candidates must register by providing their name, address, phone number and other necessary documents. The DUET application cost must then be paid online by debit/credit card, Net Banking, Paytm and UPI - According to the requirements of candidates. 

Here are the details of the amount of the category wise application fees -

  • UR, EWS and OBC category candidates - INR 750/-
  • SC, ST or PWD category candidates -  INR 300/-
  • General Category Candidates - INR 2000/-
  • SC/ ST/ PwD candidates and the PGDCSL (Postgraduate Diploma in Cyber Security and Law) - INR 1500/-.
