MCom stands for Master of Commerce which is a 2 year post graduate degree. This course provides advanced knowledge in business, finanace, and commerce. MCom course covers various topics including accounting principles, economic theory, business knowledge, management, money and banking systems, micro and macroeconomics, financial accounting, cost accounting, management accounting, and business law.
More than 82 colleges offer MCom courses. Out of these around 11 colleges are governments, and more than 45 private colleges offer MCom courses. Some of the colleges are Hindu College, St. Joseph's College of Commerce, Loyola College, Hansraj College, etc. You can take admission to MCom programs based on merit or entrance exam scores. MCom Admission Process
MCom admission takes place either directly based on graduations exams marks or based on entrance exam marks.
- Direct Admission: Students can take admission based on their graduations exams marks.
- Entrance Exam: some universities offer entrance exams. So, students need to take admission tests such as CUET-PG, state level exam, university level exam. After taking this exam students must wait for merit list, after releasing list then you can take admission based on your entrance exams score.
