SSU, Birbhum offers UG, PG and Doctoral level courses at various streams. Admission to the programs are based on merit or entrance exams. 

Eligible Criteria For SSU, Birbhum : 

• For Bachelor of Science students must have passed 10+2. For Bachelor of Pharmacy admission requires 10+2 with the valid scores of WBJEE. 
• For Master of Science, candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree with relevant scores. 
• For Diploma in Pharmacy, students must have passed class 12 with relevant scores. 
• ME/ MTech- Admission requires at least 50% marks in Graduation. 
• Diploma Courses- Students must have passed class 10 with relevant marks. 
• Master of Business Administration/ Post Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA/ PGDM)- Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks. 
• Bachelor of Design (B. Des)- Students must have completed class 12 with relevant marks. 
• Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology (BE/ BTech)- Candidates must have completed 10+2 with 50% marks, and must provide the valid scores of WBJEE/ JEE Main or SSU Admission Test. 
• Master of Arts (MA)- Must have passed Bachelor’s degree in any stream with relevant scores.
