IMI Kolkata was established in 2010 and is part of the IMI group, supported by the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group. It offers AICTE-approved management programs. • Apply Online: Visit https://admission.imi.edu/kolkata and create a new account to fill out and submit the online application form with a non-refundable fee of INR 2000.
• Payment Method: Pay the fee online using a credit/debit card or net banking via the payment gateway. No physical receipts are required.
• Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on entrance exam scores (CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT).
• Final Selection: Shortlisted candidates are invited for a Personal Interview. Final selection is based on entrance score, academic record, interview performance, work experience, and extracurricular.

IMI Kolkata Scholarship

IMI Kolkata provides scholarships based on both academic and financial need to qualified individuals. Prospective candidates must demonstrate academic distinction as well as financial need to be eligible for these awards. In addition to these considerations, candidates must meet basic entrance requirements, which include scoring at least 50% on their 10th and 12th grade exams, as well as in their undergraduate courses. Furthermore, in order to be considered for admission and scholarships, students must acquire qualifying results on recognized entrance tests such as the CAT, XAT, or MAT.

PGDM Scholarship

Students with a total family income below INR 8 lakh per year are eligible for the EWS scholarship. PGDM 2026-2028 students can apply for an EWS tuition fee waiver by submitting documents to the admissions office before the announced deadline. Late applications will not be accepted. The scholarship is available for up to 5% of the total seats and will be processed at once for all applicants.

FPM Scholarship

Full-time FPM scholars at IMI Kolkata get 100% waiver on tuition, library, computer, and study material fees. They also receive a monthly stipend of INR 37,000 for the first two years and INR 42,000 for the next two years, based on academic progress. Additionally, an INR 1,00,000 grant is given for conferences and research needs.
