Christ (Deemed To Be) University, Bangalore Scholarships 2026

Christ (Deemed-To-Be) University offers multiple scholarship opportunities to meritorious students. These scholarships are available as financial assistance for UG and PG students. Apart from scholarships, Christ University also provides ‘Awards’ to recognize students from various backgrounds and skills.

The total Christ University scholarship amount allocated for students is INR 450 L. Two of the top scholarships available are ‘Merit Scholarship’ and ‘Scholarship for Financial Assistance’. Students can check the list of scholarships at Christ University below:

Christ University Scholarship: Merit Scholarship

The ‘Merit Scholarship’ is awarded to students in September every year. The pre-entry marks, mid-semester scores, and attendance are the eligibility for this scholarship. Also, for two consecutive years, it is offered based on the one end-of-semester and two mid-semester exam results.

Merit Scholarship is provided as a fee refund. The of the reduction and fee is given below:

Christ University Scholarship: Financial Assistance

To apply for ‘Financial Assistance’, students have to be meritorious with a good academic and a weak financial background. Also, they must be a first-year PG student. Applicants from rural areas will be given preference. 

Students have to submit the scholarship application form to the Office of Scholarships. Also, proof of financial, such as a community/ income certificate from a revenue inspector or higher, is necessary. After the submission, authorities will inspect the applications, and selected students will be invited for interviews.

Christ University Scholarship: Alumni Association Scholarships

This scholarship is for students from economically weak backgrounds. For application students have to visit Alumni Office, Room No :122, Innovation Centre, 1st Floor, IV Block.

Christ University Scholarship: Bishop Jonas Thaliath Memorial Fee Concession

Students from economically weaker sections can apply for this scholarship in Christ University. This is to support higher education for students with weaker financial backgrounds.

Christ University Scholarship: Bishop Emmanuel Mani Giles Pothanamuzhy Memorial Merit Scholarship

This scholarship is for students with excellent academic/ extracurricular achievements. For application, students must have at least a First Class in previous semesters with 85% attendance. Also, applicants must have a 70% mark in all semesters.

Christ University Scholarship: Exam Fee Waiver

This scholarship is targeted at economically backward students who are facing unforeseen circumstances. Students for this scholarship will be barred from paying the examination fees.

Christ University Scholarship: Cent Percent Attendance Scholarship

This scholarship is provided to students with perfect attendance. For application, students have to maintain 100% attendance in their previous semester.

Christ Foreign Students Scholarship

Foreign students who are studying at Christ University, Bangalore, can only avail of this scholarship. This scholarship is to support international students financially.

Christ University Scholarship: Award for Excellence

The ‘Award for Excellence’ is to recognize excellent students and toppers. Students from all UG and PG courses are eligible for this award.

Christ University Scholarship: Award for proficiency

The award is to recognize students who are diligent and holistic in their education. Students can be awarded only through the recommendation of HODs of their respective departments.

Christ University Scholarship: Award for Co-curricular Activities

This award is limited only to final-year students who participated in sports/cultural, and club activities. Students can be awarded only through the recommendation of the respective Teacher-in-Charge.
