WBJEE 2025 results have been postponed again due to contempt proceedings in the Calcutta High Court. Originally set for release today, August 7, the delay follows a separate legal challenge concerning the state's OBC reservation list. The court is hearing the matter today, and the Principal Secretary of Higher Education has been summoned.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has postponed the WBJEE 2025 results once again. Originally slated for release on August 7, 2025, the delay is attributed to ongoing contempt proceedings against the state and WBJEEB in the Calcutta High Court. The court is addressing the matter today. More than 1 lakh students took the exam on April 27, 2025, vying for admission to undergraduate engineering and pharmacy programs in West Bengal.

Once the results are announced, candidates can download their rank cards, which will include both the General Merit Rank (GMR) and the Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR), from the official website wbjeeb.nic.in. The board will release a full counseling schedule, which will include registration, choice filling, and seat allotment, after the results are announced.

The state-level entrance exam was held on April 27 in two shifts, from 11 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm. The WBJEE 2025 answer key was released on May 9, and candidates were able to raise objections until May 11. The WBJEE is a state-level entrance examination used for admission to undergraduate Engineering, Pharmacy, and Architecture programs at government and self-financed institutions and universities in West Bengal.

WBJEE 2025 Result: After Events

Official WBJEE 2025 result will be available for download as a rank card on wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. Candidates must log in with their application number and date of birth to access their scores and ranks. Any discrepancies in the result should be reported to the authorities via email at [email protected] within 24 hours. Physical submissions will also be accepted until noon on the next working day.

WBJEE 2025 counselling dates will be announced soon. All qualified candidates must register, pay the required fee, and submit their preferences for colleges and courses. Seat allotment will be based on the candidate's rank, preferences, category, and seat availability.

The WBJEE 2025 cutoff will publish the opening and closing ranks for admission. This cutoff is influenced by various factors, including the difficulty of the exam, the number of applicants, and previous years' trends. However, meeting the cutoff does not guarantee admission, as other criteria are also taken into account.
