WBJEE 2025 Results Delayed Again? Here's What We Know So Far

WBJEE 2025 results for engineering and pharmacy aspirants in West Bengal remain undeclared. Despite the April 27 exam, WBJEEB's silence and an OBC reservation-related interim court stay (until July 31, 2025) are pushing expectations to late July, prolonging student uncertainty.

WBJEE 2025 aspirants for engineering and pharmacy courses across West Bengal remain in anxious. Despite the examination having concluded nearly three months ago on April 27, 2025, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has yet to officially declare the results. This prolonged silence from officials continues to fuel growing frustration and uncertainty among students.

While the Board itself has remained tight-lipped regarding a specific release date, sources indicate that the results, which were reportedly ready for declaration by June 5, 2025, have been held back due to a significant legal hurdle: an interim stay issued by the Calcutta High Court on the revised OBC reservation list. This stay, which impacts executive orders concerning OBC reservations issued between May 8 and June 13, 2025, is in effect until July 31, 2025.

This judicial intervention has put the WBJEEB in a difficult position, as the preparation of category-wise merit lists hinges on the finalization of reservation policies. With the JoSAA counselling process for IITs and NITs already underway, many students who appeared for both JEE Main and WBJEE are caught in a dilemma, fearing they might lose out on opportunities while awaiting clarity on their WBJEE ranks. Concerns about a potential "brain drain," where meritorious students opt for institutions outside West Bengal due to the delay, have also been voiced by educational institutions, including Jadavpur University.

In previous years, results of WBJEE followed a much swifter timeline. For instance, in 2024, results were out by June 6, and in 2023 by May 26. The current delay, extending into mid-July, is unprecedented in recent memory.

Once declared, rank cards will be accessible using application number and date of birth. The Board is expected to release the merit list and cutoff marks alongside the results. Until then, the waiting game continues for thousands of hopefuls.

UP NEET PG 2025 counselling will be conducted in four rounds, allocating 85% state quota seats based on choices, NEET scores, and reservations. The remaining 15% All India Quota seats will be managed by MCC.

UP NEET PG 2025 counselling dates have been officially released on the state’s exam portal, upneet.gov.in. You can begin round 1 registration process from November 06, 2025. To participate in the seat allocation, you must register online and submit your preferred choices of colleges and courses. The deadline for application submission is October 10, 2025. If you have qualified NEET PG 2025 exam and meet the minimum cutoff criteria, you are eligible to take part in Uttar Pradesh NEET PG counselling process.
