Mark sheets for 69 thousand+ UP Board students have arrived, with four employees given a tight seven-day window to distribute them to 300 colleges. However, concerns are mounting as numerous schools report missing mark sheets for failed students, prompting complaints to the DIOS.

Mark sheets and certificates for the UP Board High School and Intermediate Examination 2025 have arrived at the district headquarters, with a total of 69,496 students passing this year. This includes 37,391 high school students and 32,105 intermediate students.
District School Inspector Dr. Pawan Kumar Tiwari has issued an order for the swift distribution of these mark sheets, which were received from the Regional Office Varanasi. Four employees have been assigned to this task: Manish Yadav, Junior Assistant, Government High School, Purenanda, Bikapur; Rajendra Yadav, Senior Assistant, Government Girls Inter College, Amaniganj; Rohit Kumar, Senior Assistant, Government Girls Inter College, Haiderganj; and Sunil Kumar, attendant, Government Inter College.
Distribution Challenges and Missing Marksheets
These employees are mandated to distribute the mark sheets to all 300 colleges in the district within seven days, collecting a receipt certificate from each principal and ensuring all students receive their documents. Failure to meet this deadline will result in action against the involved employees.
However, concerns have been raised about the tight deadline. Employees feel seven days is insufficient, and principals highlight the challenge of distributing to 800 to 1500 students per college in such a short period.
Adding to the complexities, many schools have reported not receiving the mark sheets of failed students in their bundles. School operators, including Devendra Kumar, have complained about this issue, indicating it's a widespread problem. So far, mark sheets have reached approximately 408 out of about 905 schools in the district. On the first day of distribution, around 150 schools collected documents, a number that rose to 408 on the second day.
Discrepancies and Next Steps
Despite these complaints, the department has not yet received any reports of discrepancies in the mark sheets themselves. The board had previously offered schools an opportunity to correct student names or other records before the results were released. Should any errors be discovered now, they will need to be certified by the District School Inspector before being sent to the board for rectification.
District School Inspector Chandrashekhar stated that mark sheet distribution is proceeding rapidly and that no significant problems have been encountered. However, the issue of missing mark sheets for failed students remains unresolved, causing concern among school operators.
