New Important Guidelines for NEET (UG) 2026 Candidates

Review the following guidelines carefully to ensure your challenge is valid and to avoid any unintended consequences regarding your examination integrity.

  • Only fully darkened circles made with a Blue or Black Ball Point Pen are considered valid.
  • Multiple markings for a single question are treated as invalid and will incur negative marking. Any overwriting or stray marks on the sheet may lead to misinterpretation by the scanner.
  • Challenges should only be submitted after a thorough comparison between your physical OMR sheet and the portal data.
  • Any attempt to challenge based on a manipulated or tampered image will be classified as a case of Unfair Means (UFM), which may result in severe legal action or debarment.

For further assistance, you may contact the NTA at 011-40759000 or 011-69227700, or email [email protected].
