The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) announced the round 3 seat allotment results for the 2026 academic session today, July 6, at 5 PM. Candidates who have participated in the counselling process can view their allotment status by logging into the official portal at josaa.nic.in using their JEE application number and password.
JoSAA 2026 Round 3 counselling results are out. Shortly after the allotment results are published, the opening and closing ranks for participating IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs will also be made available on the website, allowing students to assess their standing and plan their next steps in the admission process.

Once a seat is allocated, you are required to complete the online reporting process between July 6 and July 8. The phase involves uploading mandatory documents, such as mark sheets, admit cards, & medical certificates and paying the non-refundable Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF). Depending on their category, you must pay (either INR 15,000 or INR 30,000) to confirm their provisional seat. If verification officers raise any queries regarding your documents, you must resolve them by July 9 to prevent the forfeiture of your allotted seat.

- Step 2: Click the "Round 3 Seat Allotment" link.
- Step 3: Log in using your JEE Main credentials.
- Step 4: View your allotment status and download the "Initial Seat Allotment Intimation Slip."
- Step 5: Save a digital copy for your records.

To access this information, open the official website, go to the "eServices" tab, and select the "OR-CR 2026" link. Simply input the required details—such as the round number, institute, academic program, and seat category—and click "Submit" to view the specific cutoff ranks.

After securing a seat, you must choose between Freeze, Float, or Slide options to manage your future preferences. Complete the formalities as the reporting window is closing on July 8, to get admission into the chosen engineering programs.
