The Joint Seat Allocation Authority released the JoSAA 2026 Round 2 mock seat allotment result today, June 10, on its official website, josaa.nic.in. Candidates who completed their registration and saved their choices by June 9 at 5:00 PM will be able to access this second mock round, which follows the release of Round 1 on June 8.

The JoSAA mock rounds allow you to preview which colleges and courses they might secure based on your current ranks and preferences. As preference shifts made by other applicants after the 1st round can heavily impact today's results. Use this feedback to strategically refine the choice lists before the final deadline. Experts advise comparing mock outcomes with previous years' closing ranks and adjusting options only if necessary, ensuring a well-balanced list that includes a mix of dream, moderate, and safe colleges.
When choosing your options, focus on your actual academic interests and career goals rather than just a college's reputation. Carefully updating your preferences after today’s Round 2 mock results will give you a much better chance of getting a great college in the final rounds.
