National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially revised the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 schedule. The agency shortened the exam window by one day. The official dates are given here.

Following the release of the city intimation slips on January 8, 2026, NTA has confirmed that Paper 1 will span ten shifts over five days. Paper 2 will conclude the session on January 29. Following city slips you can soon access the admit card using the same credentials on jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The exact exam center address and shift timings for both Paper 1 & 2 will be specified on the JEE Main 2026 Admit Card. Early exam dates like January 21 are often seen as standard. Later dates like January 24 or 28 can be more calculation heavy. However, NTA aims for a balanced difficulty level across all sessions. Avoid worrying about shift variations. Instead, prioritize mastering high-weightage topics. Focus on refining time management through consistent mock tests. Check the updated JEE Main 2026 exam schedule below.
