NTA has concluded JEE Main 2026 application form correction process. If you have completed your JEE Main 2026 registration for session 1, and update or correct your details on the application form until 11:50 PM on December 02, 2025, you should follow the next steps.

JEE Main 2026 form correction facility was available through candidate’s individual logins on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. To access the portal, you used your application number and password or date of birth.  

What is the Process of JEE Main 2026 Application Form Correction?

To edit your JEE Main 2026 application form, follow these steps listed below:

• Step 1: Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• Step 2: Click on the active link available on the homepage to access JEE Main 2026 form correction window.
• Step 3: The login window will appear. Enter your JEE Main application number and password.
• Step 4: Read the instructions carefully and verify the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
• Step 5: After login, you can access the fields in your application form that are editable.
• Step 6: Make the necessary changes to your JEE Main application form.
• Step 7: Review all details thoroughly, as no further corrections will be allowed later.
• Step 8: Click submit to save the updated form.

What Details are Editable During JEE Main 2026 Application Form Correction?

During JEE Main 2026 form correction, you can update the following details:

• Personal Info: Change only one among you name, father’s name, or mother’s name
• Academics: Class 10 and 12 details (board, year of passing, roll number, etc.)
• Preferences: Exam cities (Up to 4 choices), Exam medium (Language), Paper selection (Adding Arch or B.Planning)
• Demographics: Date of birth, gender, category
• Uploads: Re-upload signature (Photograph usually cannot be changed)
• Identity: Update non-Aadhaar ID details provided.

What Next After JEE Main 2026 Application Form Correction Window?

Once you complete JEE Main 2026 form correction, no further changes will be allowed. NTA will release session 1 JEE Main city intimation slip 2026 in the first week of January 2026. This slip will show the city of the allotted exam centre. A few days before the exam, JEE Main 2026 admit card will be issued with the exam centre details, exam date, shift, and important instructions.
