The objection window for JEE Advanced 2025 provisional answer key closed today, May 27, at 5 PM. Candidates who appeared for the prestigious engineering entrance examination had one final opportunity to challenge any discrepancies in the answers released by IIT Kanpur.

Examinees are confirmed to receive 3 bonus marks for a question in Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2025 examination. This decision comes after a review of the provisional answer key released on May 25, which indicated an issue with one of the questions. The specific question in Physics, reportedly dealing with gravitation, had no correct options provided.
The answer key challenge window opened on May 26 at 10 AM, allowing candidates to submit their objections with supporting evidence. A panel of subject experts will now scrutinize these challenges. Any valid objections will lead to necessary corrections before the final answer key is published.
The final JEE Advanced 2025 answer key, along with the results, is scheduled to be released on June 2. This crucial step will determine the scores and ranks for admission to the 23 IITs across India.
