Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test, TANCET admission exam is conducted for PG seats in the Tamil Nadu colleges. Anna University is the conductor of this state level test for several PG programs such as M.Tech/ M. Arch/ M. Plan/ ME, MBA and MCA courses. Over 200 colleges in Tamil Nadu accept this score. Every year, over 40,000 MBA candidates appear for this exam to compete for over 15,000 seats. The questions are to be answered within 2 hours.

Highlights of TANCET Examination

Candidates must know the eligibility criteria before registering for the test. Final year students from Bachelor's degree can also apply for this exam. Students outside Tamil Nadu state can also appear for this test. Aspirants who have completed B. E and B.Tech through weekend or distance mode are not eligible for this TANCET 2024. Candidates with valid GATE score do not have to appear for this exam. However, students with valid scores in Life science and engineering science have to appear for the exam.
