KEAM Rank List Preparation for Engineering

To prepare the Engineering rank list, the authorities assign equal weightage (50:50) to two key components: the normalized marks secured by the candidate in KEAM 2025 entrance exam. The standardized marks from the final year of the qualifying exam in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (or Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology, whichever is applicable). KEAM entrance exam score is first normalized and calculated out of 300, and the final year qualifying marks are standardized and also computed out of 300. If candidates get the same marks in KEAM 2025 rank list, specific tie-breaking steps are followed based on the course. For Engineering, if the total index marks are the same, the candidate with a higher Mathematics score in KEAM (before normalization) is ranked higher. If the tie continues, the Physics score in KEAM is considered next. If still tied, standardized marks in Mathematics of the final year qualifying exam are checked, followed by standardized Physics marks. If needed, the number of correct responses in Mathematics and then in Physics will be compared. If there's still a tie, the older candidate is placed higher. If unresolved, the CEE will take the final call.

For BPharm, in case of a tie in the normalized total marks, the candidate with a higher Chemistry score in KEAM is given preference.If the tie persists, the Physics score in KEAM is considered next. If necessary, the number of correct answers in Chemistry, followed by Physics, is evaluated. If the tie still remains, the older candidate is given preference. For Architecture, if the total marks out of 400 are equal, the candidate with a higher NATA score will be placed higher.
