Bachelor of Optometry or B. Optom is a four - year Undergraduate program for the students who aspire to become an Optometrist. The course teaches students to diagnose the issues related to human eyes. After graduating from this course students can perform various eye surgeries and provide their consultation regarding any disease, suggest contact lenses or glasses.

Students with class 12 degree in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics with minimum 50% marks can apply for this program. Most colleges offer admission based on the marks obtained in the higher secondary level. While others accept the marks of entrance exams.
