Scholarships schemes are available for the SC, ST, OBC, and Minority category students at this institute. These are the following scholarship schemes available at GIMT:

Vidya Lakshmi: Vidya Lakshmi is a portal developed for the students who are looking for educational loans at a very low interest rate. This student portal is operated under the guidance of the Department of Higher Education, Department of Financial Services, and Indian Banks Association.

  • The National Scholarships Scheme: The National Scholarships Portal is the one-stop solution for the students, through which they can access various services, starting from student application, application receipt, processing, sanction, and provides various scholarships schemes to the students.

  • Kanyashree Prakalpa: This initiative was started by the West Bengal government to improve the life of the female students. The purpose of this scholarship scheme is to uplift the status of female students from poor families and thus can’t pursue higher studies due to tough economic conditions.
