Kolkata: Qualifying candidates have a variety of career options to explore after GATE 2025 results. One of the most popular paths is pursuing higher studies, such as enrolling in a postgraduate degree (M.Tech/ME) at top institutions like IITs or NITs.

On the other hand, qualifying candidates have the option to apply for PSU jobs, based on their GATE 2025 scores and ranks. Additionally, students may receive job offers from private companies and organizations that also consider GATE scores for recruitment.

What is GATE Counselling Process 2025?

GATE 2025 counselling process will begin after the GATE 2025 results. Qualified candidates must register for the GATE COAP 2025 (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) within the specified dates announced by the exam authorities. GATE selection process includes two main portals:

COAP for admissions to IITs
CCMT (Centralized Counseling for MTech) for admissions to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.

GATE COAP 2025:

COAP counselling is conducted for admission to IITs based on GATE 2025 scores.
Through the COAP portal, candidates can check their seat allotment results for M.Tech and other technical courses offered by top IITs and IIT Roorkee.
Qualifying candidates can accept, retain, or reject the allotted seat as per their preference.

GATE CCMT 2025:

CCMT counselling is conducted for admission to Arch, M.Tech, M.Des, and M.Plan courses in NITs and GFTIs based on GATE 2025 scores.
CCMT 2025 counselling schedule will be released on the official website: ccmt.admissions.nic.in.
CCMT counselling process consists of five stages, including registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and admission confirmation.
