The tests CET span from March to May 2026. MAH-MHT CET 2026 Session 1 for the PCM group will now be held from April 11 to April 20, rather than ending on April 19. The PCB group will follow from April 21 to April 26. For the Session 2 (Second Round), the MHT CET (PCM) is now scheduled for May 12 to May 16, while the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET second session will take place on May 09. Other key dates include the MAH-M.HMCT CET on March 25 and the MAH-MCA CET on March 30. 

The official notification confirms that the syllabus will primarily align with the Maharashtra State Board curriculum for Classes 11 and 12. Specifically, the MHT CET (PCM/PCB), for Engineering, Pharmacy, and Agricultural courses, will maintain the established 80:20 weightage system, with 80% of questions drawn from the Class 12 syllabus and 20% from the Class 11 syllabus, administered as a computer-based, multiple-choice test with no negative marking.

The CET Cell is unifying the entrance process for bachelor-level courses by conducting a single Common Entrance Test titled MAH–B. HMCT/BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM–CET 2026, replacing previously separate exams for these courses due to shared eligibility criteria, which will be a 120-minute computer-based test, while postgraduate entrance exams like the MAH MBA/MMS CET & MCA CET will focus on logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, verbal ability and domain-specific knowledge.
