Candidates who participated in JEE Main 2026, held between April 2 and 8, can access their final scorecards on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, with their JEE Main application number and password. These results are crucial, as they consider the best score from both sessions to determine the All India Rank (AIR), category-wise cut-off percentiles, and eligibility for JEE Advanced. To ensure fairness across different shifts, NTA utilizes a normalization process to calculate subject-wise and overall percentiles.

Unlike the first session, the Session 2 result serves as the final merit list. It not only establishes the qualifying threshold for IIT admissions via JEE Advanced but also dictates seat allotment for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs through the JoSAA counseling process. Along with individual scorecards, the NTA publishes the list of top rankers, and the specific percentile cut-offs required various categories for Paper 1 to proceed to the next stage of the entrance cycle. The NTA scores for the B.Arch (2A) and B.Planning (2B) exams will be released at a later date.

The NTA has withheld the JEE Main 2026 results for 113 candidates due to integrity and verification issues. Specifically, 57 students were flagged for unfair practices, such as possessing mobile phones or forging documents, while the remaining 56 candidates face delays due to discrepancies in their biometrics, photographs, or identity information. While the majority of scorecards are now live, these specific results remain blocked pending further verification.
