The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced that NEET PG 2025 Round 1 and Round 2 candidates can resign from their allotted seats subject to the forfeiture of their security deposit. Check out the official notice and process below.

As per the MCC notice, candidates of NEET PG 2025 who want to vacate their Round-1 or Round-2 seats can do so through the "Exit with Forfeiture" option. This resignation window is open from January 12 to January 15, 2026 (5:00 PM) and will result in the loss of the candidate's security deposit.
To complete this process, you must physically report to their allotted college and ensure that their resignation letter is generated online through the MCC portal. Any resignation not documented via the portal will be treated as "Null & Void". These vacated seats will subsequently be added to the Round-3 seat matrix to be made available for choice filling by participating candidates.
