As per the MCC notice, candidates of NEET PG 2025 who want to vacate their Round-1 or Round-2 seats can do so through the "Exit with Forfeiture" option. This resignation window is open from January 12 to January 15, 2026 (5:00 PM) and will result in the loss of the candidate's security deposit.

To complete this process, you must physically report to their allotted college and ensure that their resignation letter is generated online through the MCC portal. Any resignation not documented via the portal will be treated as "Null & Void". These vacated seats will subsequently be added to the Round-3 seat matrix to be made available for choice filling by participating candidates.

NEET PG 2025 Seat Resignation Process (Round 1 and 2)

To officially resign from your NEET PG 2025 allotted seat, you must complete the following two-step procedure:

  • Step 1: Visit your allotted college in person to submit a formal resignation request to the administration.
  • Step 2: Ensure the college logs into the MCC portal to generate your official resignation letter online.
