Candidates who have qualified JEE exam are eligible to participate in the counselling process. This process facilitates admissions to a wide range of institutions, including top IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). In total, 127 institutions are participating in the JoSAA 2025 counselling.

Today, June 12, 2025, marks the closure of JoSAA Counselling 2025 registration. Candidates who qualified JEE Mains or Advanced 2025 can register on the official website, josaa.nic.in, to participate in the admission process for 62,853 B.Tech seats. JoSAA 2025 counselling provides admission to 128 participating institutions, including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 47 Other Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). Round 1's final seat allotment list will be announced on June 14, with Round 2 on June 21.

JoSAA also released mock seat allotment results for Round 1 on June 9 and Round 2 on June 11. Candidates can access their mock allotment by entering their JEE Main application number and password. These mock allotments help students understand potential college admissions based on their preferences and allow them to modify their choices accordingly.
