The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the schedule for the CA May 2026 examinations for the Foundation, Intermediate and Final courses. Check the dates and timings below.
The examinations are scheduled from May 2 to May 20, 2026, with the Final Course exams on May 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12, the Intermediate Course exams on May 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13, and the Foundation Course exams on May 14, 16, 18, and 20. The ICAI CA 2026 exam will be held across various centers in India and nine overseas locations.
Online registration for the exams will commence on March 3, with the last date for submission without a late fee being March 16, 2026, and the final deadline (with a late fee of INR 600) being March 19, 2026. Most papers have a 3-hour duration from 2 PM to 5 PM (IST), preceded by a 15-minute advance reading time, though Foundation Papers 3 and 4 and all International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) papers are exceptions with different durations and/or no reading time. Candidates for the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final exams can opt to answer papers in either English or Hindi medium.

ICAI CA May 2026: Examination Fee

The exam schedule is fixed and will not be revised even if a date coincides with a public holiday. While filling out the exam application form, must carefully select your preferred examination centre. Although the examination dates have been released, the ICAI is expected to announce the specific dates for the exam form availability, application fees, and the admit card schedule separately.
