The NIRF Rankings 2025, announced by the Ministry of Education, feature a diverse range of colleges from across India in the Top 100. Tamil Nadu has emerged as the state with the highest number of institutions on the list, boasting 17 colleges.
Following Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi also have a strong presence, with a significant number of their colleges securing spots in the top 100. Additionally, states like Assam, Odisha, and Punjab are showcasing a growing academic footprint with several institutions making the list. The rankings, which evaluate institutions based on various parameters like teaching, research, and professional practices, provide a comprehensive overview of the country's academic landscape.
