Following numerous requests from candidates, the NTA has decided to extend the CSIR UGC NET 2025 December session deadlines for the application process till today. The application correction window will be online between October 30 to November 1, 2025.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conclude the CSIR UGC NET 2025 registrations today, October 24, 2025 for December session. Must complete your registration immediately to avoid last-minute issues if you wish to take the examination.
Apply for your CSIR NET 2025 Dec by today midnight. The revised last date for the online submission of the application form is now October 27, 2025 (until 11:50 PM). The Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025 exam will be conducted on December 18, 2025, in multiple cities across India using the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

The CSIR UGC NET exam determines the eligibility of Indian nationals for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as an Assistant Professor and Ph.D. admissions in Indian universities and colleges. CSIR UGC NET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The requirements for the CSIR NET 2025 exam are given below:
- Permanent Citizen of India for both JRF and LS/Assistant Professor.
- Master's degree (M.Sc./Equivalent) or 4-year Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech/MBBS, etc.).
- Minimum Marks: 55% (General/OBC-NCL) or 50% (SC/ST/PwD).
- Result Awaited (RA): Eligible but must complete the degree with the required percentage within two years of the exam.
- Age Limit:
- JRF: Maximum 30 years (with relaxation for reserved categories).
- LS/Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.
