Frequently Asked Questions

what is the percentile formula to calculate the CMAT 2025 result? +

Ans. CMAT percentile is calculated using normalized scores to account for variations in exam difficulty across shifts. It represents a candidate's rank relative to all test-takers. The formula is: Percentile = 100 x (Number of candidates with scores less than or equal to yours) / (Total number of candidates). For example, if 10,000 took the test and you have the highest score, your percentile would be 99.99.

Does the CMAT score provide centralized counseling for admission? +

Ans. No, CMAT doesn't have centralized counseling. The NTA's role ends with the result announcement. Each of the ~1300 CMAT-accepting MBA colleges conducts its own admissions process, including shortlisting based on CMAT scores, GDs, WATs, PIs, and final selection based on various parameters like CMAT score, academic record, GD/PI performance, and work experience.
