NLU Delhi has opened the AILET 2026 application window on its official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The deadline to apply for the BA LLB, LLM, and PhD programs is November 10, 2025, and the entrance exam is scheduled for December 14, 2025. Candidates must select 3 preferred test-cities during registration.

As per the latest notification from the National Law University of Delhi, AILET 2026 application fee has been reduced. The registration fee for General category students is now INR 3000, a decrease from last year's INR 3500. For SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates, the fee has been lowered to INR 1000 from the previous year's INR 1500 for SC/ST applicants. Additionally, SC/ST and women candidates who fall below the poverty line (BPL) are exempt from paying the online application fee. This decision is expected to encourage more candidates to apply, thereby increasing their chances of admission to NLU Delhi's BA LLB or LLM programs.

NLU Delhi Seat Matrix 2026

Foreign Nationals/OCI/PIO are not required to take AILET but must have a minimum of 65% in their qualifying examination. There is also one additional supernumerary seat available for Kashmiri Migrants. The seat matrix for the BA LLB and LLM programs at NLU Delhi for the 2026-27 academic year is detailed below:
