AAU VET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

You must meet the AAU VET 2025 eligibility criteria to apply for the exam. These include educational qualifications, age limits, and domicile requirements. The general eligibility conditions for AAU VET 2025 are as follows:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. A minimum aggregate of 50% marks is required for general category candidates, while those belonging to reserved categories must have at least 40%.
  • Age Limit: Applicants must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2025, and not older than 25 years. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.
  • Domicile Requirement: Candidates must be residents of Assam or fulfil the domicile criteria specified by the university.

Step 1: Registration

  1. You need to have a valid personal email ID and mobile number, which will be used for all communication throughout the admission process.
  2. Visit the official website at admission.aau.ac.in and Click on the REGISTER button and follow the steps as directed.
  3. After successfully registering, a confirmation message containing login credentials will be sent to the registered mobile number. An email will also be sent to the registered email ID with a verification link, which must be clicked to complete the registration.
  4. Once the application form is submitted you cannot make any changes. The university will not accept any requests for corrections or modifications. However, you may start a new registration if necessary.

Step 2: Filling the Application Form

  1. After registration, you must upload a recent passport-size photo and signature in JPEG format, each not exceeding 100KB. An online cropping tool is available to adjust the images before uploading.
  2. You should enter your personal and academic details in the relevant sections and upload required certificates in PDF format, each file not exceeding 150KB.
  3. Ensure all necessary documents are uploaded in PDF format (maximum 150KB per file).
  4. Information in the application form can be edited or updated multiple times before final submission. However, once the form is finalized and submitted, no further edits will be allowed. Double-check all entries before submission.
  5. Submit the application form only after verifying that all the provided information is accurate and complete.
