UPCATET Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

For Admission to BSc (Hons) Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry

You must have passed Class 12 with one of the following subject combinations:
- Agricultural Science
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)
- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM)
- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB)

For Admission to Bachelor in Fisheries Science (BFSc)

You should have passed Class 12 with any of the following subjects:
- Agricultural Science
- PCB or PCMB

BSc (Hons) Home Science

You should have passed Class 12 in the Arts stream with Home Science, PCB, PCM, PCMB, or Agricultural Science.
Only female candidates are eligible for this course, as per the official guidelines.

UPCATET 2025 Registration Process

UPCATET 2025 registration for the 2025–26 academic session is now closed. The last date to submit the UPCATET 2025 application form was May 18, 2025. After registering, candidates were required to complete the application form online through the official exam website.

Ans: UPCATET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test) 2025 is a state-level entrance exam for admission into UG, PG, and PhD programs in agriculture and allied sciences offered by four agricultural universities in Uttar Pradesh.

Ans: UPCATET 2025 is being conducted by Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur. While the exam is traditionally conducted by one of the four universities under Uttar Pradesh Krishi Avam Prodyogik Vishwavidyalaya, this year, the responsibility is specifically assigned to Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur.

Ans: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with subject combinations like PCB/PCM/PCMB or Agricultural Science, depending on the course. For BSc in Home Science, only female candidates are eligible.

Ans: Candidates must be between 16 and 22 years as of December 31, 2025. For BVSc & AH, the age limit is 17 to 25 years. SC/ST/OBC candidates get a 5-year age relaxation.

Ans: UPCATET 2025 examination will be conducted in mid‑June. For Undergraduate (UG) programs, the exam is scheduled for 11 June 2025, while the tests for Master's and Ph.D. courses will take place on 12 June 2025.
