RUASAT syllabus is based on class XI and class XII. The syllabus is prescribed from the topics in the NCERT books of Class XI and XII. 

These are some important topics RUASAT examination that candidates should focus on :
 

I. Physics :

• Class XI : Unit, Dimension, Measurement, Circular Motion, Kinematics, Centre of Mass and Inertia, Rotational Dynamics, Mechanical Waves, etc.

• Class XII : Geometric Topics, Wave Optics, Electrostatics, Gravitation, Current Electricity, Capacitance, Magnetic Effect of Current & Magnetism, Electronic Devices, Communication Systems, etc.
