DHSE 1st and 2nd Year Exam Date Sheet released. The Kerala Plus Two examinations are scheduled from March 6 to 28, 2026, commencing with the Physics paper.

Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) Kerala, along with the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan, has officially published the examination schedules for both the Kerala Plus Two and SSLC 2026 exams. The details announced by the Kerala Education Minister, Sri V. Shivankutty.

The final deadline for submitting the second year (Class 12) application forms is November 25. Similarly, the First year (Class 11) Exam 2026 will be held from March 5 to 30, 2026, with model exams preceding them from February 16 to 20, 2026. Kerala Higher Secondary Examination March 2026: Timing Details

Subjects without Practicals: 9:30 A.M. to 12:15 P.M. (IST), including a Cool Off Time of 15 minutes.
Subjects with Practicals (Except Biology & Music): 9:30 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. (IST), including a Cool Off Time of 15 minutes.
Biology: 9:30 A.M. to 11:55 A.M. (IST). This includes a unique 25-minute Cool Off Time (15 minutes for Botany & Zoology, plus 10 minutes preparatory time for Zoology).
Music: Time: 9:30 A.M. to 11:15 A.M. (IST), including a Cool Off Time of 15 minutes.

Key Schedule Exceptions

On Fridays, all examinations will begin earlier at 9:15 A.M., with the end time adjusted accordingly.
The mandatory practical exams will be conducted starting from 22/1/2026.

Kerala First Year (Plus One) Examination Timings 2026

The exam times vary based on the subject and the session (Forenoon/FN or Afternoon/AN). All durations include a Cool Off Time of 15 minutes, unless noted otherwise.

Standard Timings (15-Minute Cool Off Time):
- Subjects without Practicals: 1:30 P.M. to 4:15 P.M.
- Subjects without Practicals: 9:30 A.M. to 12:15 P.M.
- Subjects with Practicals (AN, except Bio & Music): 1:30 P.M. to 3:45 P.M.
- Subjects with Practicals (FN, except Bio & Music): 9:30 A.M. to 11:45 A.M.
- Music: 1:30 P.M. to 3:15 P.M.
Special Timings (Biology): 2:00 P.M. to 4:25 P.M. This includes a 25-minute Cool Off Time (15 min for Botany & Zoology + 10 min preparatory time for Zoology).
