IIM Kozhikode: Merit-Based Scholarship
The IIM Kozhikode Merit Scholarship is awarded to first and second-year students of the Post Graduate Program (PGP, PGPLSM, and PGPFIN) based on their academic performance. The scholarship is awarded in a ratio of one scholarship for every 20 students in the first and second years.
IIM Kozhikode Scholarships: Need-Based Financial Assistance
The Institute provides IIMK Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) with specific eligibility criteria:
- Students with a gross annual family income of INR 8 lakhs or less.
- Students who have taken an education loan from scheduled commercial banks are eligible for the IIMK NBFA for the second year.
- They must provide loan disbursement details in the prescribed format.
- Scholarship awardees must not have been involved in any indiscipline or misconduct at the Institute.
- Students must meet eligibility criteria for IIMK NBFA, and those receiving multiple scholarships must refund only the chosen one.
- The Financial Aid Committee (FAC) will finalise a student's financial aid ranking based on their evaluation score.
- If there is a tie, the student with the lowest gross annual income will be preferred, and the FAC will determine the amount of financial assistance.
IIM Kozhikode: Scholarships offered by the Government
1. Top Class Education Scheme for SC Students
- The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment in India offers a Top-Class Education Scheme for SC students.
- The income should be a minimum of INR 8 LPA based on annual parental income from all sources for the previous financial year.
- The IIM Kozhikode has been granted a maximum of 10 scholarships as of the current date.
2. National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students
- The Indian Ministry of Tribal Affairs offers ST category students based on annual parental income from all sources for the previous financial year.
- The maximum income limit is INR 6 LPA, with no ceiling on the number of slots based on institute, state, or stream.
3. Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses CS
- The Indian Ministry of Minority Affairs offers scholarships to students from minority communities who have achieved at least 50% marks or equivalent in their previous final examination.

- The Rajarshee Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship is offered by the Government of Maharashtra.
