PGDM Admission Process 2026

• Application Screening: Submitted applications are reviewed by the GIMS Admission Panel, appointed by the Director for the specific academic year. Shortlisting of applications is based on:

1. Consistency and versatility in academic records
2. Relevant work experience (if applicable)

• Competitive Entrance Test: Shortlisted candidates must appear for the GIMS Aptitude Test (GAT), a 45-minute exam designed in the CAT format. However, candidates who have valid scores from CMAT, CAT, XAT, MAT, or NMAT are exempt from taking the GAT.
• Group Discussion: Candidates who qualify through the GAT or other exams are invited for a Group Discussion (GD), held either on-campus or virtually. Topics are provided on the spot, and candidates are assessed on communication, leadership, and teamwork. They must also submit a 500-700-word essay on the same topic.
• Personal Interview: All candidates who participate in the GD/PI process will also be invited for a personal interview. The interview will be conducted by a panel of at least two evaluators, and it can take place either online or offline, depending on the situation.
