The entire registration process is online. You can register at the official portal allindiabarexamination.com until April 30, 2026, followed by a short period for fee payments and form corrections. The offline OMR-based AIBE XXI exam is to be held on June 7, 2026. The exam features 100 MCQs with no negative marking, available in 11 languages.

For the upcoming AIBE XXI (2026), the syllabus maintains its traditional 19-subject structure, but the content has undergone a major shift to reflect India's updated legal landscape. The most significant change is the transition to the new criminal laws, requiring candidates to be proficient in the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA) alongside the older IPC, CrPC, and Evidence Act. Furthermore, the Bar Council has officially raised the passing threshold: General and OBC candidates now require a minimum of 45% to qualify, while SC/ST and PwD candidates must secure 40%. Under the current Bare Acts Policy, you may carry books without notes.
