VIT MBA Admissions 2026 through CAT/XAT/MAT/VITBEE is Online: Get Dates, Eligibility & Application Process

VIT is currently accepting MBA applications for the 2026-27 academic session across its Vellore, Chennai, AP and Bhopal campuses. The registration window has been open since October 31, 2025. Check out the details here.

The MBA registration for VIT is ongoing and will be closed on April 12, 2026. Admission is granted based on valid CAT, XAT or MAT scores with fee waivers available for high achievers. You can also register for the MBA 2026 admission via the university's own CBT entrance test, VITBEE 2026. The admission test is scheduled for May 3, 2026. 

The VITBEE will be a 120-minute computer-based test consisting of 100 questions covering Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative/Verbal Ability. The exam features a marking scheme of +1 for correct answers and no negative marking for incorrect entries. The VIT MBA selection process is based on the applicants’ undergraduate academic performance and their best valid score from CAT/XAT/MAT/VITBEE. Candidates with high CAT scorers are eligible for early admission. Shortlisted applicants must clear a Personal Interview, while relevant work experience serves as a distinct advantage during the final evaluation.

VITBEE 2026 Application Overview

The VITBEE 2026 application is now available exclusively online at admissions.vit.ac.in, To apply, you must hold a 3-year bachelor's degree and maintain a minimum of 60% marks across Class 10, Class 12 (or Diploma), and undergraduate studies. A 10% relaxation in UG marks is provided for SC/ST applicants and those from J&K, Ladakh or North Eastern states. Additionally, final-year students are eligible to apply, provided they complete their degree requirements by August 14, 2026.

VIT MBA 2026 Application Process

To apply for MBA 2026 program at VIT Business School, follow these steps using a single online application:

• Step 1: Create a new user profile at the official VIT portal using your name, email, and mobile number.
• Step 2: Log in to enter your personal details and comprehensive academic scores.
• Step 3:
  • Upload valid CAT 2025, XAT 2026, or MAT scorecards. If results are pending, email them prior to your interview.
  • If you lack a national exam score, select VITBEE 2026.
• Step 4: Attach scanned copies of Class 10th and 12th mark sheets, UG mark sheets (up to the pre-final year for current students), and your Aadhaar Card.
• Step 5: Complete the process by paying the non-refundable INR 1,200 fee via UPI, Net Banking or Card.

VIT Business School does not offer official mock tests, so the practice depends on you. The slot booking process is expected to commence in April 2026 on the official website. It will allow you to select preferred exam timings. Following a successful slot booking, admit cards will be released for download.
