Complete your NEET-MDS 2026 form fillup by the last date -March 30, 2026 (11:55 PM). This year there is a specific time management for the exam. Part A is to be completed in 75 minutes, and Part B is in 105 minutes. Once the time for Part A expires, the section is locked, preventing any further modifications. Scroll down to get all updates.

NEET MDS 2026 registration is ongoing. The application process is followed by a general edit window from April 4 to 6 and a final selective edit window on April 21–22 to rectify images. You can expect the test city intimation on April 22 and admit cards on April 29. The NEET MDS 2026 examination is officially scheduled for May 2, 2026.

The NBEMS maintains a strict policy regarding academic integrity, stating that any candidate who submits false or fabricated records will have their application disqualified and face a ban from all future examinations conducted by the board. To qualify for the exam, you must meet specific percentile cutoffs: 50th percentile for General/EWS, 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC, and 45th percentile for General PwBD categories.

NEET MDS 2026 Eligibility

The eligibility for NEET MDS 2026 is given here:

Academic Qualification - Must possess a BDS degree from a university/institute recognized by the DCI.

Internship - Completion of a one-year compulsory rotatory internship by May 31, 2026.

Registration - Must have a provisional or permanent registration with the State Dental Council (SDC) or DCI.

Age Limit - No upper age limit; typically, candidates should be at least 20 years of age.

J&K Candidates - Eligible for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats (note: some specific conditions may apply for local state counseling).

Foreign Nationals - Eligible to apply subject to security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.

NEET MDS 2026 Registration Process

To apply for the NEET MDS 2026, go through the process and pay the processing fee:

Step 1: Visit nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in.

Step 2: Locate and click on the "NEET-MDS" tab under the examination categories on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on the "New Registration" link.

Step 4: Enter essential information.

Step 5: Click "Submit" to receive your unique User ID and Password via your registered email and SMS.

Step 6: Log in using these credentials to fill in academic details, internship status, and upload required documents.

Step 7: Process the non-refundable application fee based on your category:

Step 8: Choose your preferred test city and download the Confirmation Slip for future reference.

Apply before the exact deadline time to avoid server lag. Use the latest versions of web browsers. Ensure you are in a well-lit area with a plain white background. Use UPI or Net Banking for faster transaction processing. Have all scanned documents ready per the brochure specs before starting.

Ans: You must upload two photos: a real-time webcam capture and a recent (under 3 months) color photo. Both require a white background, formal attire, and no spectacles or accessories. The signature and left thumb impression must be in blue/black ink inside a 3.5 x 1.5 cm box on white paper. Digital files must be in .jpg/.jpeg format, under 80kb, with the face covering 70-80% of the frame. Selfies, blurred images, or incorrect ink colors will lead to immediate disqualification.

Ans: You must check the payment status in your application form; it is only considered complete if the status is marked as "S" (Successful). If the status is shown as pending, the payment may be stuck with your bank. NBEMS will not be responsible for rejected applications if the bank fails to settle the payment before the deadline.

Ans: The NEET MDS 2026 exam is divided into two sections. Part A focuses on foundational medical subjects like General Medicine, Surgery, and Anatomy. Part B is centered on specialized dental topics such as Oral Surgery, Periodontology, and Prosthodontics. All questions are multiple-choice, evaluating a candidate's overall expertise in both general medicine and dental surgery.
