To align with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CBSE has implemented a "twice-a-year" examination structure for Class 10, beginning in 2026, to foster flexibility and alleviate student stress. For those opting to take a second board exam, the higher of the two scores will be reflected in their final CBSE Class 10 results.

For verified updates regarding the results students should exclusively monitor the official CBSE websites—cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in. Digital marksheets will be released first, detailing subject-wise marks, total scores, and overall pass/fail status, while original physical marksheets will be distributed through schools at a later date.

To pass the CBSE Class 10 examination, students are required to secure a minimum of 33 percent marks; those who fall below this threshold will be considered unsuccessful. The declaration of these second board results is an important step for students planning their transition to Class 11. These scores help students decide which stream (Science, Commerce, or Humanities) is the best fit for their academic goals.
