The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a revised schedule for the Paper-1 of the CA Final and Intermediate examinations in specific cities across Punjab and Jammu. The exams, initially set for September 3rd and 4th, were postponed due to heavy rains and floods in these regions. The rescheduled dates for the affected students are now September 24, 2025, for the CA Final (Group I) Paper-1 (Financial Reporting), and September 25, 2025, for the CA Intermediate (Group I) Paper-1 (Advanced Accounting).
This change affects examination centers in Amritsar, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Mandi Gobindgarh, Pathankot, Patiala, Sangrur and Jammu City. The ICAI has confirmed that the exams will be held at the same centers and times (2 PM to 5 PM IST). It has also been clarified that the revised schedule will not be impacted by any public holiday.
