COMEDK UGET eligibility criteria are determined by The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental College of Karnataka. COMEDK exam 2025 is conducted for admission to the Engineering, Medical, and Dental courses at various institutes throughout Karnataka. In order to appear for the exam, you have to qualify for the second PUC 10+2 exam or equivalent exam.

To appear for the COMEDK UGET exam, you must meet educational qualifications with a minimum percentage of marks as required by the conducting body. For admission to the engineering courses, you should have a minimum of 45% marks in the Class 12.

With the COMEDK UGET exam 2025, you will be eligible for admission to MBBS (Medical), BDS (Dental), and Barch courses. For admission to the Barch program, you must have a valid NATA score. If you have a valid NATA score, then you will be eligible for the COMEDK counselling process.

If you fail to meet the eligibility criteria, then you will be disqualified from the exam selection process. COMEDK UGET Eligibility Criteria 2025: Engineering Course

If you are seeking admission to the engineering courses at private engineering colleges in Karnataka, then you must meet the following criteria:

  • This qualifying examination for admission for BE/BTech is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent exam from a recognized board. The last two-year study must include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
  • The general category candidates must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of SC, ST, or OBC candidates of Karnataka) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry Biotechnology Biology Computer Science or Electronics and one of the objectional.
  • The attempt in the COMEDK exam seeking admission to engineering programs is considered adequate for figuring in the rank list.
  • Diploma candidates are not eligible to appear for the COMEDK UGET as there is no lateral entry admission.

COMEDK UGET Eligibility Criteria 2025: Architecture Course

For admission to the architecture courses, you have to meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • The prescribed qualifying examination for this course is the second PUC or 10+2 level.
  • You should have completed your 10+2 examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. In case you belong to the SC, ST, or OBC category of Karnataka, then 45% marks are required. Or, complete the 10+3 Diploma exam with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, or should have passed these subjects individually.
  • You must have a valid NATA score for admission to the BArch program. Only NATA scores are considered for admission to BArch through the COMEDK UGET.

COMEDK Eligibility Criteria 2025: Reservation Criteria

The educational institution has reservations for those candidates who are called Local persons of KKR or HK region as per the Karnataka Government.

  • SC, ST, and OBC candidates of Karnataka will be required to upload their relevant certificates, paired with their Karnataka domicile certificate, for the Exam application. Without valid certificates, candidates' eligibility criteria fall by 40% to 50%, and their rank will be invalid for the counselling process.
  • You must have submitted the SC/ST/OBC certificate along with a Karnataka domicile certificate while applying for the exam. If you fail to submit the or are not valid then, you will not be entitled to select a seat under the reservation claimed during the counselling.
  • If you have claimed Kalyana Karnataka status, then you have to submit a valid certificate along with the Karnataka domicile certificate during the application. If you fail to submit the certificate or not valid, then you won’t be entitled to select a seat under the reservation category.
