Q. Is it possible to apply for an exchange program as an international student ? 

A. Yes, International students can apply as an exchange student. They must have a visa and an offer letter from a college. 

Q. How to apply for an exchange program ? 

A. Students must have the scores of entrance exams such as SAT, MCAT, LSAT, GMAT, GRE, IELTS and TOEFL. They also have to appear for a Personal interview at the affiliated college. 

Q. How much the host families get paid ? 

A. The host families get USD 1,000 based on the state to help with the expenses. 

Q. Are these students exchange program free ? 

A. You have to pay the course fee at the university. On the other hand, if you are studying in a different university under an exchange program, you will not have to pay the tuition fee in the host college. 

Q. How long the exchange students stay in the host country ?

A. It can be 6 to 12 months. However, Students can also stay for one semester. Some student exchange programs also offer study credit.
