Q. How the seats are allotted during the COMEDK B.Arch counselling ?

A. During the counselling, the seats are allotted based on the ranks, seat availability, category and preferences of the candidates. The admission is based on the JEE Main paper 2 or NATA scores. It’s significant to select the right order of college preference, because this is considered in the process.

Q. What are the career opportunities after completing B.Arch ? 

A. After completing the course, Students can get opportunities like, Interior designer, Landscape architect, Industrial designer, Construction manager, Principal architect, Architecture engineer, Architectural designer, Project architect etc. The entry level salary can be from INR 5 to 7 LPA, mi - level position package can be from INR 9 to 13 LPA and senior level salary can be INR 13 to 20 LPA. 

Q. Is NATA mandatory for the admission to B.Arch ? 

A. AIEE B.Arch or NATA are the compulsory entrance exams prescribed by the Council of Architecture. If any candidate wants to pursue this course, they must abide by it. 

Q. Which test is better JEE or NATA ? 

A. It’s believed that JEE Main is higher and difficult compared to NATA. Candidates who have completes JEE Mains paper 2 can get admission to any college. whereas, NATA is allowed mostly in state level and private colleges. 

Q. Which candidates are eligible for B.Arch exam ? 

A. The ones with 10 + 2 degree in science stream with the subjects such as Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics can appear for this course.
