Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is an UG programme in Ayurveda and the Traditional healing and treatment process. It provides the complete knowledge of Ashtanga Ayurveda with scientific advances in modern medicine. It also provides extensive practical training. 
 

AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee) is responsible for admission to Ayurveda education at the UG level as well as the PG level. The curriculum of BAMS is almost the same throughout all the Ayurveda colleges that are affiliated with the respective universities, which are determined by the Department of AYUSH, Union Government of India.
