Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, also known as SJMSOM, is a part of IIT Bombay, established in 1995. SJMSOM is accredited by AICTE and UGC. The management school is a part of IIT Bombay, which has been recognized as an Institution of Eminence by the Government of India. The IIRF has ranked SJMSOM MBA at 10 out of 100 colleges in India 2025. SJMSOM offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses.

SJMSOM IIT Bombay flagship program is MBA. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum score of 60%. Admissions are based on a composite score of CAT, following a Personal Interview process. The MBA fee is INR 15.15 Lakh.

During the SJMSOM placements 2024, a total of 48 recruiting companies participated in the placement drive, with a PPO rate of 47%. The highest CTC offered was INR 72 LPA while the average CTC was INR 28.01 LPA. The top recruiters were Accenture Digital, EY, GEP, Optum, Indus Valley Partners, Nestlé, Asian Paints, TVS Credit, Castrol, ICICI Bank, Ninja cart, Tata Consumer Products, Nivea, Colgate and more.

SJMSOM IIT Bombay is a modern, well-structured building with facilities such as library services, sports facilities, and laboratories. The facility boasts a robust alumni network, guest room provisions, modern laboratories, a well-stocked library with internet access, and a comfortable cafeteria. Its goal is to facilitate comprehensive student growth and learning. Below are SJMSOM facilities.

• Hostel: SJMSOM IIT Bombay offers two hostels for boys and girls. Boys have a separate hostel with well-maintained rooms, a hygienic mess/cafeteria, sports facilities, a common room, a gymnasium and medical facilities. The hostel also provides trained security for students. Both hostels are equipped with trained security to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
• Library: Shailesh J Mehta School of Management offers a comprehensive library with over 6638 books, 337 audio visual materials, 514 thesis and dissertations, and 55 MDP reports. The Institute Central Library, which includes over 5000 book titles and 38 relevant journals, also subscribes to several full-text electronic journals. The school also provides access to data and information sources such as the Prowess, Business Beacon database from the Center for Monitoring the Indian Economy (CMIE), Capital Line, and the CII Directory. The library also subscribes to Cenca, Capital Stock, and Prime databases.
• The medical facility provides regular health checkups and doctor visits for emergencies.
• The gym is equipped with advanced technology for physical fitness and offers advanced equipment for students and staff.
• Sports facilities include indoor and outdoor games such as badminton, football, volleyball, and chess. The campus also features an advanced IT infrastructure with a fast network that covers various areas, including hostels, mess, gym, and other areas.
• The cafeteria offers a variety of food items at affordable prices, while the auditorium has a capacity of around 150 seats for seminars, MDPs, and conferences.
• Wi-Fi access is available throughout the campus, including students, mess, gym, hostel, library, and other areas. Classrooms are equipped with air conditioning and U-shaped designs for facilitating discussions and debates.
