Candidates seeking admission to this college can apply through online or offline mode. to apply for BTech, students must have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board. Candidates also have to appear for JEE Main or WBJEE entrance exams.

For the Lateral entry in BTech, candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering or a Bachelor in Science degree and they also have to appear for WBJELET.

At the college around 80% seats are reserved for the students with WBJEE scores, and 10% for the qualified students of JEE Main. The rest 10% is reserved for the Management quota.

For MTech admission, candidates must have passed Graduation from a recognized university, and they have to appear for GATE exam. Students without GATE scores, have to appear for WBUT PGET.
