Award and Prizes

• For General Proficiency : Provided to the best students in different classes based on the marks of the university exam. 

2.

Rabindranath Centenary Commemoration Medal

•  Offered to the best students of Commerce, Science and Arts based on their results in Part II, applicable for General and Honors both. Students must have 50% to 60% marks. 

3.

Prizes based on the results of B.Com. (Hons.)

• Cash prize given to the students passed Part II and III from BCOM stream. The highest marks holder will receive the funds provided by Prof. B.K. Sengupta, and the prizes are named after Smt. Annapurna Debi, Smt. Prativamayee Debi, Sri Mukundapada Roy and Sri Deba Prasad Sengupta respectively.

Late Lilakirtan Singer, Shefali Saha, Sangeet Sudhakar Smriti Purashkar Scholarship 

• Provided by Sri Rameshlal Saha every year in cash to the highest marks holder in Bengali Honors (Part-II & III opted together)

5.

Late Sudhangshu Kumar Basu Memorial Prize, Late Amiyabala basu Memorial Prize 

• Given to the highest marks holder in Bengali Honors, each year. Awarded by Smt. Reba Rudra (Retired Lecturer).

6.

Late Kanti Rani Chakraborty Memorial Prize 

• The highest marks holder in Education Honors (Part - II & III opted together) can get this prize. Awarded in the name of late Chtralekha Chakraborty. 

7.

Sri Mohannanda Brahmachari Benevolent Fund

• This fund comprises three cash prizes given to the highest score holders of English Honors, Sanskrit Pass and the highest marks holder in the Degree General and Honors students, awarded by Sri Kalyannath Dutta (Retired Lecturer).

8.

Hemangini Rai Dastidar Prizes

• Students can get cash prize of INR 200 for books each year from this endowment fund.
