IIM Ranchi MBA Admissions 2026

IIM Ranchi offers admission to its two-year full-time Post Graduate Programs: MBA, MBA-BA, and MBA-HRM based on the CAT 2025 score, PI performance, and candidate profile. The total seat intake for the MBA is 250 students.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD).
Final-year students can apply provisionally but must submit proof of degree completion with required marks by the date specified by IIM Ranchi.

IIM Ranchi IPM Admissions 2026

Admission to IIM Ranchi IPM will be determined through an evaluation process. This includes performance in the IPMAT, Personal Interview, and the Academic Profile based on Class X and XII marks.

All candidates must separately apply online through the IIM Ranchi IPM admission portal.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed Class X and XII with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD).
Marks will be calculated as per the respective board's regulations. If no such rule exists, the aggregate of all subjects will be considered.
IPMAT (conducted by IIM Indore) is the only accepted entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil any one of the following educational qualifications:

Passed a master's degree or Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent in any discipline with a first-class.
A B.Tech/4-year bachelor's degree with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or equivalent.
A professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/CS along with a B.Com or equivalent degree with at least 55% aggregate marks.
A minimum of 55% marks must be secured in all examinations starting from Class X.
Age Limit: The candidate must not be more than 55 years of age as of 30th June 2026.

Selection Process

Candidates must have appeared for any one of the following qualifying examinations:

Note: Scores of these exams will be considered valid for two years, including CAT taken in the last two years.
