The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has released the results for the Clerkship (Part-I) Examination 2023. The Part-II examination. The preliminary (Part-I) OMR-examination took place on November 16 and 17, 2024.

WBPSC Clerkship 2023 Cutoff

WBPSC 2023 clerkship Part II has no negative marking. The detailed syllabus is as follows:
Group A (English)
You will be tested on:
- Drafting a report (in English) from points or materials supplied.
- Condensing a prose passage (Summary / Precis)
- Translation from the regional language (Bengali / Hindi / Urdu / Nepali / Santali) to English (as applicable)
So the tasks would be like:
- You get points / guidelines / data and you write a report in English.
- A passage in Bengali (or the regional language chosen) is given; you summarize / condense it.
- A translation from Bengali (or other language) to English.
Group B (Regional Language: Bengali / Hindi / Urdu / Nepali / Santali)
You will be tested on:
- Drafting a report (in the chosen regional language) from points or materials supplied
- Condensing a prose passage (Summary / Precis)
- Translation from English into the regional language (English to Bengali / Hindi / etc.)

The questions in the WBPSC Clerkship examination, particularly for language and translation, are benchmarked to the Madhyamik level. Following the initial two stages, candidates who qualify in both Part I and Part II will proceed to a further qualifying test that assesses their elementary computer operation and typing ability. Crucially, the final merit list is not solely based on the written exams.
It is prepared using the combined marks of Part I and Part II but only for those candidates who have successfully cleared the subsequent computer/typing test, as this final stage is mandatory but qualifying in nature.

New Rules for JEE Main 2026 Exam Centre Selection
Candidates can select up to four exam cities based on preference.
New rule: Cities must be from your Permanent or Present Address state.
NTA will allot the nearest available centres based on Permanent Address.
