GATE 2025 Toppers List ? Marks, Scores & Rank Details

GATE 2025 toppers list includes their marks for all 30 subjects which can be used for M.Tech admissions and PSU recruitment. IIT Roorkee will release the GATE 2025 results and the corresponding toppers list on March 19, 2025, following the exam conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16. Candidates can access the GATE All India Rank list and branch-specific toppers, including those for EE, CS, ME, and EC, on the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Results will require candidate login credentials, and the GATE 2025 scorecard will be available for free download from March 28 to May 31, 2025. Following the free download period, the GATE 2025 scorecard will remain accessible until December 31, 2025, with a download fee of INR 500 per paper.

What's after GATE 2025?

After the GATE 2025 results are declared, candidates have several opportunities to pursue which are detailed below:

PSU Recruitment Through GATE:

• GATE 2025 toppers and those with valid scores can apply for entry-level engineering positions in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
• Participating PSUs include GAIL, BHEL, DRDO, and ISRO, offering competitive salaries.

M.Tech/M.E./Ph.D. Admission Through GATE 2025:

• A valid GATE 2025 score enables admission to M.Tech, M.E., and Ph.D. programs.
• Eligible institutions include IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other recognized institutes.
• Students admitted with a valid GATE score are eligible for a fellowship from the MHRD, Government of India.
• For IIT M.Tech admissions, candidates must apply through the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP).
• For NIT and IIIT admissions, candidates must apply through the Centralized Counseling for M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan (CCMT) and also to the respective institute directly.

Ans: Yes, it is possible. While GATE scores are the standard requirement for M.Tech admissions at IIT Madras, candidates with a B.Tech degree from an IIT and a minimum CGPA of 8.0 can apply directly through the IIT Madras website. Departmental review will then determine admission.

Can I go IISc to complete my M.Tech without GATE? +

Ans: No, candidates must have a valid GATE score in order to be considered for admission to IISC Bangalore. For aerospace, chemical, civil, and materials engineering, however, a 70% GATE score plus 30% written test performance (100% GATE based) with COAP counseling will be recognized.
