KCET Eligibility Criteria 2025

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech Courses

Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computer Science.

Must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

For B.Arch Courses

  • Must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
  • Should have scored at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in aggregate.
  • Must possess a valid NATA 2025 score.

B.V.Sc. & A.H. Courses

  • Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
  • Minimum of 50% aggregate marks required (40% for reserved categories).

Age Limit

  • Minimum age 17 years as of December 31, 2025.
  • No upper age limit is prescribed.

KCET Registration Fees 2025

KCET 2025 application form must be filled out and submitted online through the official KEA website. How to Fill the KCET Registration 2025 application form

Students who wish to apply for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 must first make sure they meet the KCET eligibility 2025. Only after confirming their eligibility, they should begin the registration process by following these steps:

Step 1: Go to the official website of KEA: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the link that says 'UGCET 2025 Online Application'.

Step 3: If you are applying for the first time, click on 'New User? Click Here to Register'

Step 4: Fill in all the required details on the registration form. Once you complete the form, submit it.

Step 5: After successful registration, you will see your Application Number and User ID on the screen. These details will also be sent to your registered mobile number.

Step 6: Use your User ID and Password to log in. Now, fill in the application form step by step, including:

  • General Information
  • Reservation Details
  • RD (Revenue Document) Number
  • Educational (Study) Details

Step 7: Now go to the Reservation Section and upload the following scanned documents (in the correct format):

  • Passport-size Photograph
  • Signature
  • Left-hand Thumb Impression

Check and confirm all your entries such as category, income, 371(j) RD number, Kannada medium studies, rural study background, and other special categories. You can edit these before final submission.

KCET 2025 Registration: KCET Document Required

While filling out the KCET application form, students need to get the following documents ready. Mandatory KCET Registration 2025 Documents Required:

  • Class 10th Marks Card - Needed for verifying your date of birth and identity.
  • Class 12th Marks Sheet - Only required if you passed 12th in the previous year.
